Can Astrology Help if you do not know your Birth Details

It is generally perceived that astrology can only help people who know their birth details. It is true to some extent as knowing the place, date and time of birth helps in constructing ones horoscope as the placement of stars at the time of birth can be easily ascertained.
Many people are not at all certain about their birth details. They may know the place of birth, but the time or date or even both may not be known to them.
Now is astrology well equipped to deal with people facing such issues? Believe me and believe in Vedic astrology, we have sufficient tools and methods through with these issues can be addressed. Let me point of a few of them for you:
1. Birth details of immediate family member can be useful.
2. Birth details of distant family member can also be useful.
3. Your date of birth only can also be great help.
4. And lastly horary, the science which can answer most complexes of the question almost instantly does not require any of the above.

So, next time when you feel the need of consulting an astrologer and are wary of the fact that you do not have your exact birth timings, then just go to an astrologer but mind you that the astrologer should be a Vedic astrologer.

The Vedic science is so rich that dealing with issues of birth details was never a problem.

An art has also come up lately, the art of constructing the horoscope by viewing the palm. I am describing it as an art as it has nothing to do with the Vedic sciences. The method is not that accurate as it depends upon the practising experience of the astrologer and the refinement he has done on his skills.

Learned people can construct a horoscope from the lines, moulds and shape of the palm. The minicule details like the ascendant, moon sign, and the placement of different planets in the horoscope can be effectively worked out. The Vimshottari Dasha can also be judged to a certain extent. But the dependency on this art can be only to a certain extent and other tools like as described above are to be used in tandem with it.

The Prashan Vigyan or the horary is such a powerful tool that it can even amaze the non believer. It can answer and solve problem to almost all the question which can graze the human mind and that too with very good accuracy. I have instance where I find people even from Police department flock the astrologer to enquire about the missing objects/persons and object of crime etc. These visits have turned into a habit as the answer given by the astrologer benefit them.

Some instantaneous question which may not be correctly or suitably answered by normal horoscope reading can be adjudicated very effectively with the aid of Prashan Vigyan. The questions of the like, what job should be chosen, who has stolen or where is the stolen good, wellness of a patient, the capability of the doctor who is treating the patient , query of an lost person, progeny, imprisonment etc etc.

So next time you have any query in your mind, just see an vedic astrologer, he will for sure have a effective solution for your queries.

The Secret of Ophiuchus : 13th Zodiac Sign

Ophiuchus - 13th Zodiac SignThe constellation “Ophiuchus” is not new to our astronomers, and its existence is as old as our knowledge of solar system. Professor kunkle of Minneapole’s University has created a furor in the astrological world by citing alleged astronomical principles which necessitates the creation of thirteenth sign. Let us examine the statement of Prof. Kunkle which necessitated the creation 13th sign.

1. The zodiac is an arbitrary epileptic ring on which all the planets of our solar system revolve. As the complete angular distance of any ring is 360°, the zodiac also has 360˚ as its angular distance. Astrologers since long have divided this zodiac into 12 equal parts of 30˚ each, known as sign. Now the question of 13th sign arises only when the zodiac expands form 360 to say 390 degrees OR the planets start diverting and follow some new path, bigger than the previous. As both the above mentioned possibility are vague, the formation 13th sign is farce.

2. The methodology adopted by Prof. Kunkle to prove his statement is even more interesting. According to him the third motion of earth, Gyration of earth, is responsible for the creation of this thirteen sign. Let us examine this fact too. There are three motions attributed to the earth, one is the revolution around the sun which take 365 days, the other is motion on its axis which takes a bit less than 24 hrs the third is the rotation of axis and this is a slow affair and the rate is 1° per 72 years.

Prof. Kumkle attributes the 13th sign to this third motion, which is gyration and can be equated to the shifting of the nail of a spinning top. The earth also shifts due to this wobbling and due to this the actual entry of the plants in a sign is different from what the western astrology calculates. This difference in time of entrance of a planet in a particular sign is neither due to the expansion of the zodiac and nor is due to extension of zodiac path and so that thought of formation of 13th sign should not arise.

The ancient Indian astrology seers had anticipated this third motion of the earth and thus the actual time of entry of any planet to the sign was stressed upon. This aspect was known to Ptolemy the father of western astrology, who had derived his skills from Indian and Greek astrology, but refrained from applying it.
So when a planet actually reaches a Sign, the Western Astrologer still assume the planet is a distant away. The difference caused due to this effect is increasing by each passing day and to this date it has reached to 23° which was zero degrees in the year 258AD. Thus we can attribute this cause for creating a new sign which is nothing but an attempt to hide their short comings.

The western astrologers very well understand that their foundation is laid on a weak soil and so they try to put forth different methodologies to combat that.

Indian astrology is laid on a solid foundation and relies on actual movement of plants in the sky. We have divided the zodiac into 12 sign, 12 signs are further divided into 27 constellations and every constellation is further sub divided into four Padas. The planet when factually enters a sign is taken into consideration so there shall never be the need to create sign to perplex the world.

Those who believe in western astrology should understand that 13000 year from now, when the Sun will be in Libra, they will still believe that it is in Aires or they would have created 5 more new signs.

To Sum up things, the creation of the thirteenth sign in nothing but anescape route devised by western astrologer to hide their astronomical miscalculations concerning astrology. Vedic astrology in a non believer in this format of astrology and for it there are twelve signs and shall remain the same in the times to come. So enjoy and read your fortune as per your moon sign and not sun sign.

Makar Sankranti – when father comes to son’s house

The day which marks the transition of the Sun from southern hemisphere (Night of God) to the Northern hemisphere (Day of God) is called as Makar Sankranti. This day is widely known as Makar Sankranti because the Sun enters (transition of Sun from one sign to another is known as Sankranti) in to Capricorn sign (known as Makar) of the zodiac. It may also be noted that excepting the Sankrantis all the Hindu festivals are governed by the lunar movement whereas the Sankrantis are driven by the transition of the Sun.

The Sun stands for Pratyaksha-Brahman - the manifest God, who symbolizes, the one, non-dual, self-effulgent, the karaka of soul and was the first discipline of Lord Krishna. This glorious divinity when leaves the Sagittarius Sign and enters the Capricorn Sign, the world enthrals due a number of reasons. The foremost being, the people get respite from the cold wave which now eases off and the warmer and the longer days begin.

This thought has been propagated since the Vedic and Mahabharta times that the period six months from Makar Sankranti called Uttrayan is deemed fit for all Vedic and sacred rituals and due to this fact Bhisma Pitamaha of Mahabhrata, who had the boon of selecting for him, his time of death, chose this auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, to let his soul go.

Makar Sankranti is also sacred because from this day the negativity in the atmosphere gets wiped off and pleasant positivity takes over. This is so because on this very day Maha Bhagwan Vishnu massacred all the demons and their (demons) heads were buried under the Mandar hill.

This day also symbolises as the day when the faith and respect to all the elders of the family (dead or alive) is reiterated by the younger ones. On this very day Gangaji descended to the earth after Maharaj Bhagirath won the heart of Shivji through his prayers and worship. Gangaji decended on to the earth for the redemption of the sixty thousand sons of Maharaj Sagar, as the sons of Maharaj Sagar were turned to ashes due to the curse of Kapil Sage. This conduct of Maharaj Bhagirath is praise worthy and laudable, who for the sake of redemption of his ancestors took the path self sacrifice.

There is a natural enmity between Saturn and Sun in spite of the fact that the relation between them is of Son and Father. Advent of Sun (Father) in Capricorn( House of Saturn) also symbolises the Hindu tradition where it is the duty of the son to live up to the expectation of his father and the father leaves no stone unturned to let his son achieve all that and it may be to the extent of living in his son’s house. Morals always kept ahead of the grudges.

All these astrological, Vedic and Poranik thoughts make this festival most pious and if anybody wants to draw some profit from this confluence of Sun and Saturn then worship the Sun while taking a holy dip in the Ganges or the river near you by sunrise on the day of Maker Sankranti. Paying respect to the elders of the family especially your father is also an essential ritual to be followed.
