Comets visit our solar system regularly and as they all have physical form, they are bound to cast an impact on our lives, as all planets do. The bigger, the more volatile and more closely it pass through different planets, the more power it has to alter the traits of that particular planet.

Let us take the example of comet Hartley, which orbits the sun about every 6.5 years and which has up till now by having gravitational interactions with Jupiter kept shifting its path, sending it closer to the sun and thus farther from Earth during each subsequent return, and now which is expected to be close to the Earth on 20th October 2010 and by early to mid-October, the comet travels in front of Perseus for over a week, crossing over into the constellation Auriga by October 17. On October 18, 19 and 20, Comet Hartley 2 flies by the star Capella the great lighthouse of the northern sky.
The interaction it has with Jupiter and other planets is well known and the gravitational pull they exert on each other keeps on changing the path of the comet. This physical being of the comet is expected to alter the transiting influences that are cast by the planet on a native. The results are expected to get altered significantly and this effect can be seen considerably in commodity market, stocks and bullion. They will appear to be hot cakes but once investment is done, an upheaval of expected results can also be seen.
The arrival of comets can also be considered as a type of ‘anti vaid’ or “reverse vaid” due to which the beneficial effects of a transiting planets if are getting nullified due to “vaid” due other planets, gets to a considerable amount of positivity.
A horoscope of an individual has also to be checked for the presence of comet at the time of birth, and if that is the case the results are always to be modified.
