Today is the ninth tithi of Ashwin Mass and the moon is in Uttar shad Nakshatra. Today is the day for worshipping Maa Bhagwati. You can get all siddhi by worshipping her. This aspect of Maa Durga is considered the greatest form and salvation giving Maa.
The ninth Aspect of Maa Durga is believed as Maa Siddhidaatri. Maa Siddhidatri is considered as the giver of all forms of achievements [Siddhi]. The Goddess Siddhidatri is capable of giving all types of occult powers and she is also the possessor of twenty six different wishes to give her worshipers. According to the Brahmavaivart Purana there are 18 types of achievements which are Anima, Mahima, Garima, Ladhima, Prapti, Prakaamya, Ishitva, Vashitva, Sarvakaamaal, Saadhita, Sarvagynatva, Durshravana, Parkaayapraveshan, VakaSiddhi, Kalpavrushatva, Shrishti, Samharkaransaamarthya, Amaratva, Sarvanyayakatva, Bhavana and Siddhi.
According to Devi Purana, Bhagavan Shiva got all the achievements only by the grace of Maa Siddhidaatri. That is why his half body was turned in to the Devi and he was renowned as Ardhanareshwar. Dev, Danav, Gandharva, Kinnar, Yaksh and Manushya worship Maa Siddhidaatri to get achievements or sidhhi. ‘Siddhi’ is a Sanskrit term which means ‘perfection’. Goddess Siddhidatri has four arms. She holds a Chakra in her right lower hand and a mace in the upper hand. In the left lower hand there is a conch and in her upper left hand a lotus flower. She is seen as seated on a lotus flower with the lion as her mount.
Maa Durga removes ignorance and she provides the knowledge of realisation to Brahmins. She is always surrounded by Siddhas, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Demons and Gods who are worshiping her. The Siddhi is the realization that everything is Supreme Being or Brahman. If a “sadhaka” worships her with his full faith he can get all “Siddhis” and nothing remains unattainable from him in the universe. Siddhi means enlistment. She is complete form of Shakti which is power of Shiva. Without Shakti Shiva will be “Saab” which means powerless
Siddhidatri Maa is the representation of wealth, health, and happiness. Maa Siddhidatri is capable of rendering all forms of success to her devotees. Devi Siddhidatri is also known as Devi Lakshmi and her consort is Lord Vishnu. She is the ultimate form of the Maa among all the Navdurga. After worshipping all other aspects of Devi, Navratri Pooja is culminated by praying to Devi Siddhidatri.
MAA SIDDHIDATRI MEANS BESTOWING VARIOUS OCCULT POWER OR SIDDHI

HOW TO WORSHIP MAA BHAGWATI
If you have been unable to perform the puja accordingly, today only you can do it while remembering all eight Devi and can get the true blessings of Maa Siddhidatri. There will be no desire left unfulfilled if you worship Maa on ninth day of Navratras. You should follow the following rules…
• Place Maa Siddhidatri’s photo or idol on a wooden small table which should be covered with red cloth.
• Remember Maa having a flower in hand.
• Offer that flower on the feet of Maa after remembering her.
• Recite mantra and offer bhog of navedya made up of pure ghee and recite the mantra many times.

• Do hawan and purnahuti after reciting mantra.
• Feed the Brahmans and give them dakshina, clothes and some jewels and get the blessings of them.
• Do not forget to worship small girls, feed them and gift them red chunri because Maa loves red chunri.
HOW TO FAREWELL MAA
• Offer a cotton or silk saree to Maa. It should be of 9 yard. Put that saree in a thali. Put some chawal, choli vastra and coconut on it.The coconut should be towards Maa. Keep all the things in your hand, concentrate your mind for Maa and offer the saree to Maa with your love and devotion. This is called anchal bharai of Maa.
• If you want to ward off all the problems from your life, do a mahaupay to please Maa. Sit on a yellow cloth and face north direction. Light 9 diyas of oil which is made up of mud. Put a shriyantra over a pile of akshat and worship it with roli, akshat, flower, dhoop and diyas. Make swastika on a plate and keep it in front of you and worship the swastika, recite mantras next day place this yantra in home shrine. Maa Lakshmi will be very happy and sort out all your financial problems.
